WAT Project Matthew Greenne Play “GREGORIAN” at Walker Space New York City
We urge all fellow Armenians to see the play written by Matthew Greene and played by a non-Armenian theater group (WAT) Working Artist Theater. It is particularly important for every Armenian to encourage and support such initiatives organized by non-Armenians.
Most effective way we can convey the gravity of the Armenian Genocide and ensure that the atrocities of 1925 is not and cannot be forgotten is having non-Armenians to be aware and recognize suffering and after effects of this horrific butchery committed by Ottoman Empire.
We must recognize and show our support to such non-Armenians who have taken the initiative, express sympathy, invested their time and resources to contribute to the Armenian cause.

Working Artists Theatre Project presents GREGORIAN, a new play by Matthew Greene, running August 18 - September 2nd at Walker Space (46 Walker Street, between Broadway and Church).
Gregorian portrays one family's journey through the bloodiest century in human history as four generations discover the gravity of a name passed from father to son.
The play explores the cyclical effects of genocide on humanity, the consequences of denial, and the essential place these stories hold in our existence. Beginning with the Gregorian family's own tragic roots in the Armenian Genocide, through the rise of the Nazi Party, across the killing fields of Cambodia, and the continuing crisis in Africa, they do all they can to hold on to heritage, history, and hope.
